Antelope Run Ranch is an astoundingly beautiful 9,800 +/- acre ranch at the foot of the Bridger Teton National Forest. Located 30 minutes from Pinedale, Wyoming and 1.5 hours from Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
The Ranch borders 4 miles of the Bridger-Teton National Forest at the base of the Wyoming Range in Sublette County. Access to the Ranch is provided by State Highway 191 and a county maintained road leads directly to the Ranch entrance. In addition, the property includes a 7,500 foot airstrip, which is located approximately 8 miles from the main ranch headquarters and on a separate parcel from the main ranch.
Pinedale, Wyoming – (Sublette County) is the gateway to the Wind River Mountains, the Upper Green River Valley, Wyoming Range and over 1,300 lakes, including Fremont Lake and Half Moon Lake.
Throughout Sublette County you will find spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, great fishing, hiking, horseback riding, skiing, snowmobiling and many more exciting adventure opportunities.
This rural ranching community has approximately 7,000 residents. The county is 80% public land including BLM, State and Bridger-Teton National Forest. Sublette County is historically known as “Mountain Man Country” where fur traders and Native American Indians met “on the Green” to trade their wares.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming
The town of Jackson, Wyoming is the seat of Teton County. Nearly 97% of the county is public land. The great expanse of public land includes 2 national parks, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. The town of Jackson serves as a gateway to both parks. Several lakes lie along the base of the Teton Range among them are Jackson Lake and Jenny Lake both offering great fishing opportunities. White water rafting on the Snake River is a popular recreational activity. Wildlife has played an important role in the history of Jackson Hole. The National Elk Refuge located just outside the town of Jackson is the largest elk preserve in North America with over 9,000 elk residing there in the winter. Three major ski areas have made Jackson Hole world famous for excellent skiing and winter sports.
Daniel, Wyoming
The town of Daniel, Wyoming was established by Thomas Pixley Daniel in 1900. The community is located in the high country of the Upper Green River Valley at an elevation of 7,192 feet. The Daniel area was a popular site for the rendezvous with the Indians, trappers and fur traders. Mountain men in attendance at these rendezvous were well known mountain men such as Jim Bridger and William Sublette. The Green River passes north of Daniel as it weaves its way down the valley from its headwaters in the Wind River Mountains. Prairie Creek runs along the north edge of this little town with Horse Creek a short distance to the south. These creeks flow from the Wyoming Range. Daniel is still a small village with ranch land surrounding the community. |
Spring in the area offers mild days and cold nights interspersed with rain and occasional snow. Summers have warm days and cool nights with occasional brief afternoon thundershowers. The fall has Indian summer days and crisp cool nights. These days alternate with occasional rain and snow showers. By winter snow blankets the mountains and valleys with accumulations of ten feet common in the mountains and two to five feet in the valleys.
